ICT-BFG80 is a glass-fibre reinforced-electrically insulating silicone-based film, filled with exceptionally good heat-conducting ceramics, which has excellent long-term stability and excellent thermal performance.
The ICT-BFG80 material convinces by the first-class combination of excellent thermal, mechanical as well as electrical properties and makes the material so interesting for a variety of applications.
Due to the surface texture, this material also adapts very well to the contact surfaces. Although this material type has a thickness of 0.80 mm, it is possible due to the material structure that the thermal contact-and thus the thermal total transfer resistance-can be considerably minimised.
Other areas of application include high-voltage applications as well as applications in offshore systems (chopper, single-phase braking resistor), drive technology, illuminants, power tools, as well as in the automotive sector such as air compressors, electric auxiliary heaters, ventilation systems, e-controls, drive trains (gearboxes) etc.
